I submitted this video to Ycombinator and thought I’d share it here. I add menu items to the hamburger menu with ai, then build and run the updated app in less than 3 minutes, all on Android.
Goodbye AugmentCode Discord
Since May, I’ve been on AugmentCode Discord everyday. I really enjoyed it. Today they are closing it down and moving to Reddit. I am bummed about it. I liked being on Discord with Augment.
Project progress updates
I am working on 3 projects.
For CodeFrog, I added a Build feature so you can build and run Android apps from the Android app.
For Internet Directory, I added a section in the admin to manage and process pagescores for all crawled sites.
For Eternal Eclipse, I got 3d terrain in threejs working with units you can move and attack with. I created the start of a tutorial page with a scarecrow you can attack.
The 3 projects each have a pull request with many comments from CodeRabbit I will fix but today I’m going to a museum with my nephew.
I worked on this today – An Eternal Eclipse Demo
Based off a game I loved as a kid Myth The Fallen Lords. I made this with GPT-5 and Augment
I built a remote terminal in my app I’m working on, etc.
I worked on remote terminal functionality for my app and got it working. It is called CodeFrog. I registered codefrog.ai. I hope people like my app once it’s released.
Previously, I worked on transferring GitHub pull request reviews from CodeRabbit into the app and exporting the task list to markdown to use with AugmentCode.
I have a feature I want to add which will allow you to transfer sql databases between servers. Something I’ve been putting off, I want to migrate off an old Centos server to Ubuntu.
Another feature is building and running an Android app from the Android CodeFrog app itself so you can vibe code apps on your Android and later iOS phones.
There are some app store encryption registration challenges I will have to go through, not looking forward to that.
I applied to YC last month. Tomorrow is the day they notify you if you are rejected, so it looks like I did not get into Y Combinator.

I am still seeking work, if you’re reading this and hiring, check out my resume.

Multiple Windows in a Mac Flutter App and Device Flow secure GitHub API is nice, I wish Hetzner had it.
I was able to get multiple windows working in my flutter mac app by using the approach in this repo:
https://github.com/rodydavis/multi_window
I am working on using Device Flow to authenticate with GitHub securely without a client secret. It would be nice if more services like Hetzner had a secure way for mobile apps to login without grabbing an API key. This is less friction. AI at first tried to use something different, and blogged about that and deleted it, cause that didn’t exist, but this is the way to do it.
Anybody ever?…
Has anybody ever exported a task list from AugmentCode to Markdown(md) format, committed it to a branch and created a Pull Request, and had CodeRabbit review your task list, make the edits via task manager, and reimport the new master list?
Anybody ever review a LICENSE file in Github for a private project using a CodeRabbit PR Review?
Has anybody ever used a public GitHub repo for Terms of Service and Privacy policy so users can see diffs and dates?
Anybody ever successfully create a GitHub issue using CodeRabbit?
Setup RAG Retrieval Augmented Generation using Ollama or equivalent ai and database and deployed that to a GPU host like Vast.ai?
If so, I’d like to chat. Email me: andy@greenrobot.com
